An online clothing and monogramming boutique begun in an Upstate living room is expanding its corporate operations with a new facility in Greer and an expected 69 additional jobs. The investment is valued at $10 million.

Marleylilly sells boutique clothing, gifts and accessories and offers personalization and monograms on most products. Items are sold exclusively online with two retail sites, marleylilly.com and mondaydress.com.

The company, founded in 2010, has outgrown its existing Greer headquarters and will relocate into a new space, which will be built on West Phillips Road, according to a release from Gov. Nikki Haley’s office.

The new building will include 72,000 square feet of production, processing and distribution space and 12,000 square feet of office space. Construction will begin immediately, and owners Chad and Kelly Owens expect to open the doors to the new building in 2016.

“Moving every six months to accommodate unexpected growth is a struggle for any growing business,” the Owenses said in the release, “but it has been a reality for us since 2010.”

Hiring for the 69 expected positions will be stretched over five years and begin in September; currently, no open positions are listed on Marleylilly’s website.
