Filming of "Chronology" is taking place throughout the Upstate over the next three weeks.

Hollywood has come to Greer and will take a tour through the Upstate over the next three weeks as production for "Chronology," a feature film from Stern Pictures produced by Dark Corner Films, films on location.

Billy Baldwin, Danny Trejo, John James and Laura James star in the movie.

Baldwin drew a small crowd Wednesday night when he was spotted on Trade Street in Greer.

Billy Baldwin is pictured with Greenville's Harlena Walters in downtown Greenville on Thursday.

Bryan Tankersley, the owner of Dark Corner Films, said the film is a supernatural thriller with a release date to be determined.

Filming is to take place in west Greenville Friday and return to Greer Oct. 14, where scenes will be shot at Greer’s jail. Locations will also include Triune Mercy Center and a house near Pelzer.

Production began in Poland last month.

A press conference to discuss the film and its production is planned Friday.

Other productions have filmed in the Upstate since, but this marks the first major production since "Leatherheads," starring George Clooney, filmed throughout the area in 2006.
