Five things to do in Greenville this weekend

Greenville's outdoor festival season is in full swing and local breweries and taprooms are celebrating anniversaries.

Greenville Heritage FCU Main Street Fridays presented by Pepsi is back for more on March 24. The weekly music series takes place at NOMA Square from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. Fortunate Sons takes the stage this week with the first of two sets starting at 5:50 p.m. The Sabal Homes Kids' Area returns this week. The "Ghostbusters" car will be on display this weekend at South Carolina Comicon.

South Carolina Comicon returns for a fourth year this Saturday and Sunday. The event at the TD Convention Center features actors, writers, comic artists and plenty of costumes. Special guests include Shannon Purser, best-known as Barb in the TV series “Stranger Things” and Spencer Wilding, who appeared in “Rogue One”. Tickets are $12-$24. Event runs 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Find out more here.

Eat some oysters, help Greenville high at this weekend's Red Raider Oyster Roast at Fluor Field. The 7th annual event is Saturday, March 25 from 6 to 11 p.m. Event tickets include all the oysters & BBQ you can eat, beer & wine. There will be live music and a silent auction as well. Tickets can be purchased for $30-100 at eventbrite.com. Proceeds support the Greenville High Booster Club.

The Pour Taproom in downtown Greenville would resemble the pour-your-own tap system in the taproom's charter West Asheville location.

Can you believe it's been a year? Pour Taproom turns one this week and its celebrating with a birthday party. Join the party on Saturday for free raffle full of prizes, a cornhole tournament and beer specials. The tournament starts at 4 p.m. Entry is $10 per team. WINNER TAKES ALL. The Swamp Rabbit Brewery in Travelers Rest is located at 26 S. Main St.

Speaking of birthdays, Swamp Rabbit Brewery is Travelers Rest is celebrating three years with a big anniversary party on Saturday starting at 12 p.m. The celebration includes a DJ as well as three food trucks – Automatic TacoKeepin’ It Fresh, and Ellada Kouzina. There is no cover charge and, according to the event page, the party will last all day. Bring you dancing shoes and of course be ready to enjoy some Swamp Rabbit Beer.
